Courage in Action is our call to transform lives—one skill, one story, one second chance at a time. At Austin’s Second Chance, we believe that real courage means taking action to empower our community with tools for lasting change.
The funds raised through Courage in Action will support:
- Workforce certifications and training such as OSHA 10 ($60 per student) and OSHA 30 ($180 per student), giving individuals access to safe, stable, and meaningful careers.
- Creative and therapeutic programs for youth, using art, storytelling, and cinema as outlets to process trauma, build confidence, and navigate mental health challenges.
- Community empowerment initiatives that equip youth with practical life skills and opportunities to tackle everyday problems with resilience.
- Instructor cost, rental space, and food.
Every dollar goes directly toward these initiatives with complete transparency, ensuring donors stay informed and connected to the programs and lives they help transform. Together, we can create a future where courage leads to action—and action leads to change.
